BENEFITS OF JOURNALING
Journaling means writing down your thoughts and progress every single day or in simple words, we can say that it means talking to yourself but in a different format.
For the mornings which are full of anxiety and negative mindsets writing down just 1 or 2 pages daily may help a lot. Journalism is a free form and includes no limits and boundaries. The pages can be about the things you want to accomplish on a particular day or your meetings or even your thoughts and feels.
For the days when you feel that your mind is full of demons and you are unable to get out of your space, answering some questions and writing them down in your own words will help you to think towards a positive aspect -
1. What are the things that happened on the very last day?
2. What is the reason behind such a mood?
3. What are the things that are stopping me to get up?
4. Are these things really worth it?
5. What will happen if I continue to lay down and keep thinking this way?
6. What will be the consequences?
7. Will I regret this later?
8. Will this feeling of mine help me to proceed?
And once you answer these questions go through them again and imagine what will happen if I continued this way and what if I wake up and do the chores.
Moving one step ahead, doing one task at a time will ultimately reduce the stress of yours.
For the days when you will your body lacks something, try to remind yourself of the things you have and what are you grateful for. Make your own self-care routine and try to take breaks more often. Don't forget to remind yourself of the things that you are capable of and never ever feel sorry or pessimistic about your thoughts and ideas because these are all a part of your progress and you are the only one to control them.
